How to take and complete Commissions in Once Human

Commissions in Once Human are weekly quests that provide an excellent source of Experience Points (EXP) for leveling up your character and acquiring key endgame items. Since these quests are randomly selected from a pool, each player will receive different tasks. But you can reroll them a limited number of times based on your preferences.

How to unlock and complete Commissions in Once Human?

At the beginning of your journey in this post-apocalyptic world, you will be dropped into the Dayton Wetlands region after completing the tutorial. Here, you will start building your base and progressing through the main story until you reach the Deadsville Neutral Stronghold, which serves as the quest hub for the starting area.

To unlock Commissions in Once Human, talk to Larry Duvall, the NPC marked with a billboard icon in Deadsville. Note that similar NPCs can be found in every Neutral Stronghold you encounter throughout your journey.

Once unlocked, you can choose five out of the eight available Commissions by visiting these NPCs. Alternatively, you can press the Tab key and select the View Commissions option to summon your companion, V, anywhere on the map.

The tasks available are random for each player and may not always be ideal for your build or Memetics. For example, if you are focusing on a Shotgun build, a task requiring you to craft Pistol ammo could be a waste of resources. Thus, it is important to select the most optimal tasks from the eight available options.

Since you only need to complete five of the eight available tasks, you have plenty of flexibility to choose the ones you prefer. If none of the tasks are ideal, you can refresh them up to six times. Most tasks are quite straightforward, so you shouldn't have any trouble completing them.

You will automatically receive the rewards after completing each quest. There's also a final reward that can be claimed from the Commissions menu after you have finished all the weeklies.
