How to use Astral Vision in Throne and Liberty, and what does it do?

Astral Vision in Throne and Liberty is a rather unique system that allows you, the player, to spot 'things' at a distance. This includes the ability to highlight enemies, allies, mobs, and NPCs as well. But that is just the surface of this unique feature/mechanic in-game. This 'scanning' system, is designed to help you locate a variety of things without breaking a sweat.

That said, here is more on the Astral Vision in Throne and Liberty, how it works, and what it does.

Astral Vision in Throne and Liberty can best be described as a scanner of sorts. This system allows you to scan allies, friends, and enemies in a selected radius periodically.

You can initiate a scan of objects around your cursor by pressing the C key on your keyboard. To scan objects around your character, you will have to press Alt + C. Once the objects are scanned through the Astral Vision, you can see a list of them on the left side of the screen.

You can modify your Astral Vision list to show the selected objects only from the setting option available. This will allow you to focus on exactly what you're looking for.

The radar icon that is related to the Astral Vison setting is visible by default on the left side of your screen. You can press the LMB (left mouse button) on the radar icon to open the Astral Vision settings menu.

That said, there are three separate Astral Visions that you can choose from based on your needs. This can be done by clicking on the radar icon to uncheck everything that is set by default. You can then select the options according to your preferences.

If you are a Healer, you can use Astral Vision in Throne and Liberty to see your allies, friends, and party members. Checking these options will aid you in this task:

  • Friendly Guilds
  • Interests
  • My Party
  • My Guild

If you're not a Healer, you may want to use the Astral Vision in Throne and Liberty to find feuded targets. You can use the system to look for builds such as DPS, Healers, and other enemies that you want to target. You can customize the Astral Vision in Throne and Liberty to help you sort through enemies.

To do this, you will have to press the ESC button on the PC. This will bring the relationships option up on the screen. Next, click the Relationships option available under the Community option to add more players to your Feud or Interest. You can add the players by clicking on the Feud or Interest options after moving into the Relationships.

You can be very specific with the Astral Vision and refine your search parameters. You will be able to set the scan interval up to five seconds as well as set the range of up to 40 meters. Cinematics Duration can also be changed up to 15 seconds.

To change the aforementioned settings, you will have to bring up the menu by pressing the ESC button. Be sure to take your time and experiment with the settings in a safe area to see what works best for you.

Given how important this system is, it is recommended that you take some time familiarizing yourself with it. You can even use shortcuts to choose targets quickly. Set these up as per your preference and keyboard/controller layout.
