How to use Party Finder in Throne and Liberty

Throne and Liberty features an intuitive Party Finder system for players who want to find a dungeon to join, or take part in more specific content. Some dungeons and zones certainly take multiple party members to make things nice and safe, so having this option at launch is a good idea. However, it is something a new player could easily overlook.

While playing solo can be a fun adventure, nothing beats working together to fight even greater foes. So, if you’re considering running challenging dungeons like the Cave of Desperation, we’re here to help you use the Party Finder and get moving in Throne and Liberty.

Using the Party Finder in Throne and Liberty

The Party Finder in Throne and Liberty comes in two flavors: Party Board and Party Matchmaking. These two systems' functions are similar, but also quite different. To find either of these options, head to the Main Menu of the MMO, and look at the Community tab, one from the bottom. You’ll find both Party Board and Party Matchmaking here.

Party Board is useful for players looking for Dimensional Circle content and very specific groups. You can filter this section for a variety of dungeons, and search for specific keywords if there are too many dungeons on the list. You can also click on the Post a Recruitment Ad to look for people to join your group.

The Party Board portion of Throne and Liberty’s Party Finder is for players who don’t want to join random players. If you’re the type of MMO player who prefers completing challenging content with specific, like-minded players, this is the party finder selection you want to go with.

Conversely, you also have Party Matchmaking for the player who just wants to (hopefully) queue for a dungeon quickly. Just open Party Matchmaking, and select the Role/Dungeon you wish to queue for. Based on what role you want to play, and how many people are on the server and in queue at the same time, queue times could be incredibly long or short.

Like many MMOs, you could have faster times if you’re playing a tank build or a healer build, but that could vary depending on the people in the queue. Once you’ve made your choices, queue up and wait. While you can keep playing the game while you wait - just remember that the pop-up could appear at any time.
