Photo Mode in Once Human is a feature that most players might not be aware of. The game features a massive open world filled with various monstrosities, interesting events, and more. While it may not be as detailed and in-depth as games like Red Dead Redemption 2, the wildlife in Once Human is still an interesting spectacle.
The Photo Mode lets you capture this beautifully designed world of Once Human in great detail. You can save the captured shots in your system's inventory and share them with your friends or on social media. If you have little to no idea about how to use the Photo Mode in Once Human, this article has you covered.
Instructions for Using Photo Mode in Once Human
The Photo Mode in Once Human can be accessed in the same way you access your cradle or summon V. The option for Photo Mode is in the same radial menu as the other two options. To access the features, follow these steps:
- Press and hold the Tab button on your keyboard.
- Open the radial menu.
- Select the Camera icon on this menu.
- Selecting it opens the Photo Mode in Once Human.
- Try different options presented in the UI to click the best picture.
- Once you have the best frame, press Enter to capture.
- The captured picture will be saved in your in-game album. You can download the picture from the album to your system.

You can also share the pictures you take in-game using the Photo Mode. If you find a secret or a solution to a puzzle that you want to share with other players, you can take a picture and use a Whisper to leave a message with the photo on the open map. Whispers are yellow butterflies that can be crafted in your base.

Other than the Photo Mode, you can also use the Steam Overlay to take pictures in the game. Simply press the F12 key while playing to take a screenshot, which will then be saved automatically. This feature can be activated or deactivated from the Steam settings. However, taking shots using Steam will not remove the UI of the game from the pictures.
