Ignition Code has been a classic gear piece that stood the test of time for Destiny 2 players. Initially released alongside the Season of Splicer in Year 4, players got to use this Grenade Launcher to blind a room full of enemies. With a few improvements to the weapon's perk pool, players will be interested in seeing what the new version holds.

This article lists the best perks on the re-issued Ignition Code Grenade Launcher for PvE and PvP.

Here is a list of perks recommended on the re-issued Ignition Code for PvE:

  • Quick Launch for increased Velocity and Handling
  • Disorienting Grenades for blinding enemies within a vicinity
  • Slideshot for reloading the weapon upon sliding once
  • Reverberation for increased blast radius after kills

Any utility perk such as Strategist, or damage perks such as Vorpal Weapon can work as well. The primary focus should be the Disorienting Grenades in the second column, and the Slideshot in the third column. The other column perks do not matter that much, especially if you are only looking for blinding enemies.

Here is a list of perks recommended on the re-issued Ignition Code for PvP:

  • Hard Launch for increased Velocity
  • High-Velocity Rounds for increased projectile speed
  • Unrelenting for health regeneration after defeating a Guardian
  • Harmony for increased damage after defeating a target with other weapons

Reverberation is a great perk on the weapon as well.

How to get Ignition Code in Destiny 2?

Ignition Code can be farmed from the seasonal activities of Episode Revenant, namely the Onslaught Salvation, and Onsluaught playlist. However, these activities are just part of Act I Revenant, as there will be more activities coming with the following acts.

Players can also create tonics to further boost a seasonal weapon's drop rate, or a specific weapon via more recipes.
