Earlier in December — Lost Ark revealed the first part of its 2025 Roadmap — showcasing the content arriving in the first few months of the year. As is tradition for Smilegate’s Action RPG, this roadmap will be updated a little later in the year, so fans can have a variety of surprises coming their way. Interestingly, this roadmap also talked about some content that was on the way/has arrived by now in 2024.
This included the Kazeros Raid, updates to Solo Mode, and more. With exciting additions planned for 2025, Lost Ark is shaping up to deliver a bunch of engaging experiences. As more information arrives, we’ll update this as well. So, if you were looking to get back into this Action RPG, now’s a good time to do it.
What’s coming in 2025 for Lost Ark, according to the Roadmap
According to Lost Ark 2025’s roadmap, January 2025 is kicking off with some solid content drops — including the Frontier System. What this entails, is it will decrease raid difficulty (damage and HP) as the stage of the frontier progresses, which will happen automatically.
This allows players who tackle the content early to have that intense difficulty they’re after, and players who want less frustrating bosses can wait for a bit. This also makes future reclears easier for players who want to go back.
In addition, the Lost Ark 2025 Roadmap revealed Kazeros Raid Act 2: Requiem of the Floating Nightmare. An 8-player raid featuring a series of gates — each with its own bosses. Gate 1 features Narok the Butcher — and in Gate 2 — the familiar Brelshaza shows up with some icy new powers.
This will also add the Karma System to the Lost Ark — which lets players upgrade their characters in new ways. This raid’s Normal Mode requires Item Level 1670, and Hard Mode requires Item Level 1690. There will be other Tier 4 content coming as well, such as Tier 4 Bracelets, a new Guardian, Abidos Operation, a Chaos Gate (for players over IL 1680), and the second unlock of the T4 Ebony Cube.
Wrapping up January 2025, the Third Anniversary Celebration will be a little early — right at the end of the month. A new event will take place, Festa of Arkesia, which will be on its own, special island. There will be quests, rewards, and maybe some familiar faces.
February 2025 will be adding a new Advanced Class — as revealed in the Lost Ark 2025 roadmap: Wild Soul. This is a Yoz Specialist class that can shapeshift into animals or use Spirit Beast Spells in their human form. Right now, we know that they can turn into a bear, or a Kumiho — a nine-tailed fox.
They can summon animal spirits, and use the power of illusions as well. We’ll learn more about this class closer to launch. This will also be heralded by Progression Events to hopefully get players caught up when playing this powerful new class.
Unfortunately, not a lot is known about March 2025. Lost Ark’s 2025 Roadmap only teases that they’re planning to release the next Music Box of Memories in March, and some more Progression Events to help new Wild Soul players. Further information will be added when we’re closer to March.
