Motorbikes and Bicycles in Rust are the latest modes of transportation to be added to the game. They made their debut with the brand-new Road Renegades patch for July 2024. Players are incredibly eager to get their hands on these adrenaline-pumping machines.
With the addition of Motorbikes and Bicycles in Rust, players now have a cheaper and easier option to traverse the map instead of using expensive vehicles, such as cars, mini-copters, or the attack helicopter.
Let's take a deeper look into these new additions to the game.
Where to find Motorbikes and Bicycles in Rust
The Road Renegades Rust patch for July 2024 introduced the Motorbike and Bicycles in the game. Both these modes of transportation can be found parked outside and in the periphery of Monuments.
Bicycles
For Bicycles, you will want to target lower-tier Monuments, such as Oxum's Gas Station, Abandoned Supermarket, and so on.
Motorbikes
As for Motorbikes, you will find them in the same location if you're lucky. However, there's a higher probability of them spawning in higher-tier monuments, like Water Treatment Plant, Launch Site, and other similar Tier 2 and Tier 3 Monuments.
Players will be happy to know that they can get access to both these modes of transportation entirely for free. Other than their upkeep costs, there's no additional cost attached to them.
How to use Motorbikes and Bicycles in Rust
Motorbikes
Similar to other mechanical automobiles in the game, Motorbikes run on Low-grade Fuel. Other than ensuring that the Motorbike is in good shape, there are no other requirements to use this mode of transportation. Simply chuck in the Low-grade fuel in the fuel tank and proceed to interact with the vehicle to hop on and ride away.
Motorbikes are among the fastest means of transport in the game and cost only a fraction of what a Minicopter or a car does. In case your vehicle gets damaged, make sure you have metal fragments and a hammer handy to quickly repair it back to full health.
Bicycles
As for Bicycles, there's no requirement for fuel. You will use up your food and water as you pedal through the terrains. Whenever you opt for the speed boost using 'sprint,' both the food and water gauges will deplete at a higher percentage.
