Diablo 4’s Season 5 is on the way, and that means it’s time to chase down new Uniques. Such equipment is easily some of the strongest gear in the entire game. While the pieces vary in power, and many are built for specific build archetypes, each class has something they’re no doubt going to want to chase down.
During the recent Diablo 4 devstream, it was stated that there were 8 new uniques on the way, and their abilities were displayed in the stream. It turns out, however, that there are quite a few more that are known at this time. At the time of writing (July 24, 2024), 15 new Uniques are coming to Diablo 4 Season 5. That said, whether they become must-have items remains to be seen.
All known Uniques coming to Diablo 4 Season 5
Thanks to changes made in Season 4, it should be easier than ever to farm Uniques in Diablo 4 Season 5. These powerful items used to be quite frustrating to attain, but with improved drop rates, and lower required levels, the hope is that they won’t take forever to unlock. These items can be found in Helltides, from Elites, World Bosses, and in the new endgame content coming in Season 5.
At this time, there are 15 new Uniques, with 5 of them being generic gear that anyone can equip. The others are linked to specific classes, such as The Mortacrux going to Necromancers.
Here is a list of every Unique we’re aware of at this time.
General Uniques
- Crown of Lucion (Unique Helm): Gain 75% Resource Cost Reduction. Each time you spend Primary Resource on a Skill, you gain increased damage but 25% increased Resource cost for 4 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.
- Endurant Faith (Unique Gloves): When you would be damaged for at least 40% of your Maximum Life at once, it is instead distributed over the next 4 seconds and reduced.
- Locran’s Talisman (Unique Amulet): Gain a Critical Strike Chance per point of Primary Resource you have, up to [10-50%]. Each point of Primary Resource above 100 grants 1% Critical Strike Damage instead.
- Rakanoth’s Wake (Unique Boots): When you cast a Skill with a Cooldown, you explode, dealing Fire damage.
- Shard of Verathiel (Unique Sword): Basic Skills deal increased damage, but additionally cost 25 Primary Resource.
Barbarian Uniques
- The Third Blade (Unique Sword): Your Weapon Mastery Skills are now also Core Skills that have no Cooldowns, but cost Fury, dealing [50-70%] of normal damage. Their Fury costs are reduced by 5 for any additional Charges the Skill would have had.
- Unbroken Chain (Unique Amulet): Casting Steel Grasp reduces Iron Maelstrom’s Cooldown. Enemies damaged by Iron Maelstrom deal less damage for 6 seconds.
Druid Uniques
- Bjornfang’s Tusks (Unique Gloves): Cataclysm’s lightning strikes now prioritize enemies. While Cataclysm is active, you gain unlimited Spirit and deal increased damage.

Necromancer Uniques
- Path of Trag’oul (Unique Boots): Bone Prison traps a larger area and fires [10-30] Bone Splinters at enemies trapped within. Increase your Maximum Essence by 2 for 10 seconds each time these Bone Splinters hit an enemy.

Rogue Uniques
- Shroud of Khanduras (Unique Chest Armor): Casting Dark Shroud makes you Immune for 3 seconds, but your Evade cooldown is increased. Evading while Dark Shroud is active leaves behind an explosion that deals Shadow damage and Pulls In enemies.
- The Umbracrux (Unique Dagger): Casting a Subterfuge SKill also spawns an enemy Shade Totem for [3.0-8.0] seconds. Any damage it takes is replicated onto surrounding enemies at 30% effectiveness. You may only have 2 Shade Totems active at a time. This damage counts as a trap skill.
Sorcerer Uniques
- Axial Conduit (Unique Pants): Chain Lightning alternates between orbiting you and seeking up to 3 enemies. When it returns, it drains 6 Mana from you for each active Chain Lightning. After draining 66 total Mana, the bolt explodes, dealing Lightning Damage. Chain Lightning expires if you don’t have enough Mana for it to drain.
