Bungie announces fix for a broken 10th Anniversary triumph in Destiny 2

The 10th Anniversary celebration in Destiny 2 brought forth a new objective for everyone to participate in. A new seal, alongside fresh gear pieces, was added to the game to celebrate the franchise' 10 years. However, one particular triumph from the event seal remains broken even now, something that has been proving to be extremely time-consuming.

The Accidental Generosity triumph for the Legend seal requires players to defeat enemy combatants, and loot Engrams, exclusively on the Skywatch location. While the former objective can be completed in normal time, the latter seems to be suffering from a scarce drop rate of Engrams from enemies, chests, and any activity.

After days of feedback, Bungie seems to have come forward with a solution.

Destiny 2 Accidental Generosity triumph fix announced by Bungie

After acquiring an Engram in Skywatch, the Accidental Generosity triumph grants 7% progression towards completion. Hence, each Destiny 2 player must get 15 Engrams by doing activities within the Skywatch location to complete the triumph. The objective is a throwback to the 'loot cave' in the first Destiny game. However, while there is a loot cave available in the current Skywatch, the Engrams are nowhere to be seen.

After countless feedbacks from players, Bungie stated the following as a solution:

"We've heard your feedback regarding Engram drop rate in the Skywatch zone of the Cosmodrome. To alleviate this problem and to allow the Accidental Generosity Triumph required for the Legend Title to be completed in a more timely manner, we are increasing enemy density in Skywatch in a future update."

Adding more regarding the availability of the Destiny 2 Legend seal, the company stated:

"In the meantime, there are still several weeks left to earn access to the Legend pin, and the Legend Title will be available until Codename: Apollo ships in 2025."

While the drop rates will remain untouched, Destiny 2 players will get more shots at an increased number of enemies to get Engrams as drops. Bungie did state that this fix will be implemented at a later date. Hence, players can expect the upcoming weekly reset on September 17 to be the launch of this update.
