Destiny 2 Solstice 2024 leaks hint at upcoming weapons and armor skins

Destiny 2 Solstice will be the first major event of The Final Shape expansion, as it is usually scheduled with the start of Summer. The current expansion, having released in June, has only a month before the usual seasonal loop and annual events start to set the players' gear in farming mode. Solstice, being one of the oldest events in the game, carries a lot of prestige, especially due to the rewards it brings.

With a couple of weeks remaining before the possible launch of Solstice 2024 in Destiny 2, a few data miners shared official renders of upcoming in-game items related to the event. This lineup includes armor skins for all three classes, alongside new and reissued weapons.

All Destiny 2 Solstice 2024 weapons and armor leaks explored

Like previous editions of Solstice, 2024 will get a new weapon alongside a re-issued version of previous gear pieces. Solstice mostly grants Legendary weapons, considered exclusive and limited, as they are available for three weeks per year, only when the event stays active.

Compass Rose, Something New, and Crowning Duologue are old weapons in the Solstice loot pool. Between these three, players will be excited to know more about the Crowning Duologue Rocket Launcher, which is getting an overhaul in the perk column. Some notable changes include the addition of Reconstruction in the third column, alongside Bait and Switch in the fourth.

Regarding the new weapon, it seems that the 2024 edition of Solstice will have a Void Lightweight Framed Bow. Its name, however, remains unknown for now. Some notable perks include Repulsor Brace, Archer's Tempo, and Enlightened Action in the third column. In the fourth column, perks such as Archer's Gambit, Destabilizing Rounds, and Kill Clip are present.

Lastly, all three classes are getting their respective armor set for Solstice 2024. Bungie Leaks provided a rough 3D render of each piece via Light.gg. From the outset, it looks like Bungie is going for a pilot-themed/Helldivers look for all classes.

Destiny 2 Solstice is expected to arrive this year on August 6. Any official announcement regarding the activities and gear pieces are yet to be seen.
