Path of Exile 2's latest 0.1.0d Patch is live and is currently making rounds in the community with its laundry list of sweeping changes, buffs, and nerfs. It has already received the seal of approval from none other than Elon Musk himself.
The richest man alive has made his affection for video games well-known. Elon Musk, in particular, has been an avid connoisseur of ARPGs, with Diablo IV being his former favorite. Following his tweets, it seems that Path of Exile 2 has landed in his sights.
Elon Musk praises Grinding Gear Games' communication practices
Anyone who is even remotely keeping up with social media will know that Elon Musk shares thoughts quite often on X (formerly Twitter). Following the latest patch note drop earlier today, Musk was seen perusing the comment section of the official Path of Exile Twitter account, making his thoughts clear about the said patch notes and the overall communication practices of the developers.
Praising Grinding Gear Games and their patch note structure, Elon Musk wrote:
"Very impressive rate of improvement & well-written patch notes!" before signing off with a Hats Off emoji.
It should be noted that Elon Musk became something of a niche touchstone in ARPG conversations with his foray into Diablo IV, claiming to be one of the top pit-runners. While the leaderboard claim is, of course, subject to ups and downs, it's evident he plays Diablo IV extensively. Naturally, some of his followers have been wondering if he will be playing Path of Exile 2.
Of course, there's no guarantee whether or not he will play Path of Exile 2, given that he is slated to be the Co-Chair of the Department of Government Efficiency under the upcoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump. However, this tweet makes it evident that the game is currently on his radar.
Speaking of which, the latest Path of Exile 2 patch has been making headway with the community, and the reception has been all over the place. While the devs addressed the more serious issues involving Path of Exile 2's Dodge Roll, it is evident that more bug reports are piling up. The developers have assured players that they are monitoring issues diligently and will always keep communication channels open.
