Palworld Mobile: Krafton announces licensing agreement with Pocketpair
Krafton's CEO Kim Chang-han announced the partnership with Pocketpair for the title's mobile port. The official press release stated (translated by Google):
"Through this agreement, KRAFTON will expand the Palworld IP to mobile platforms. It plans to faithfully reinterpret and implement the main fun elements of the original for the mobile environment. The project will be handled by the development team of 'PUBG STUDIOS', a creative studio under KRAFTON."
It will be interesting to see how the team behind PUBG brings to life the vibrant world of monster hunting, catching, and taming that Palworld boasts of.

Pocketpair's title launched on early access in January 2024 on Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S and in September 2024 on PlayStation 5. It currently sits third on the list of most played Steam games, with an impressive all-time peak of 2,415,714 concurrent players.
Nevertheless, it hasn't been all smooth sailing since launch. There was plenty of criticism regarding the design of some of these monsters (called Pals in-game) and their similarities with Pokemon. In fact, earlier last month, Nintendo even filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Pocketpair over Palworld.
