August update is bringing Boomerang weapon to Rust, reports say
As per reports from SHADOWFRAX, the upcoming August update for Rust will introduce a brand-new weapon, the Boomerang. This is based on developer comments and updates that are being implemented and tested in the Rust playtest server.

We speculate that the Boomerang will be a primitive weapon in Rust. It will either be craftable on the Workbench Level 1 or without the requirement of any Workbenches.
There is no official date regarding the weapon's release, but if it has been posed for the August force wipe, it could be released on August 1, 2024. We speculate this on the fact that all monthly force wipe updates go live on the first Thursday of the month.
