World of Warships, an MMO (massively multiplayer online) game, is hosting its second wave of the Star Trek collaboration. The event is free-to-play and contains new missions that can be played to earn a free Star Trek commander without spending a dime. This event also brings with it a new set of themed-commanders, fresh Premium containers, and camouflages that can be permanently unlocked.
World of Warships is live with the Star Trek collaboration and will remain playable until the second week of December 2024. It is a great opportunity for the community to experience a space-themed naval battle while participating in a fight against the imminent threat — a Borg invasion.

World of Warships brings back Star Trek event with new commanders and cosmetics
World of Warships introduces a few new items to the game. These include bundles, cosmetics, commanders, and modules that are equipped to deal with Borg drone ships while protecting the Vulcan facilities. The event is slated to conclude on December 11, 2024, at 1 am PT/ 2:30 pm IST.
The Star Trek Second Wave bundle has a total of four commanders: Borg Queen, Janeway, Worf, and Riker. This is a great opportunity for you to get specially-themed cosmetics for your commander. This pack will also provide you with access to the Queen’s Diamond cosmetics for the X Yamato and the classic U.S.S. Voyage skin for the X Salem.

Furthermore, the event features a larger bundle, the Star Trek Large Pack, which includes a massive arsenal of premium content. It contains all of the items from the Second Wave bundle and special cosmetics like the fabled characters Picard and Spock. You can gain access to more warship skins like the U.S.S. Enterprise-D and Vulcan Cruiser alongside Romulan Warbird and Klingon Bird-of-Prey.
Both packs also contain special discounts for researchable ships that can be found in-game. You can choose to hoist exclusive flags obtained through the bundle itself. Alternatively, you can take part in special missions to earn points and unlock either Commander Riker or Worf for free by spending 6 skill points.
