Nightstar Sand location in Palworld and how to use it

Nightstar Sand is the newly added material in Palworld following the launch of the Feybreak update released on December 23, 2024. It is required to craft prominent items including several weapons and armor. However, you might find it tricky to find the Nightstar Sands as they can be located in a few distinct areas and at a specific time of the day.

Firstly, Nightstar Sand can only be found in the game during the nighttime. So, wait for it to get dark and travel to certain beach or desert areas to find it lying on the ground. The newly introduced material emanates a bright yellow light, so locating it should be pretty straightforward.

Although Nightstar Sand was added after the Feybreak update, you can find it on several other locations around the map apart from the newly added Feybreak island. Some of the coordinates of its locations are shown below:

• -905, -814 (Feybreak island)

Currently, there are eight items you can craft in the game using the Nightstar Sand, including three prominent weapons and five pieces of armor. The following are the required Nightstar Sand and recipe to craft the items:

• Metal Detector (Technology 56): Nightstar Sand x20, Plasteel x30, Paldium Fragment x100, Circuit Board x30
• Beam Sword (Technology 57): Nightstar Sand x20, Hexolite x30, Paldium Fragment x100, Ancient Civilization Parts x5
• Advanced Bow (Technology 58): Nightstar Sand x20, Hexolite x40, Carbon Fiber x100

Armor

• Anti-Gravity Belt (Ancient Technology 29): Nightstar Sand x10. Ingot x30, Paldium Fragment x30
• Air Dash Boots (Ancient Technology 34): Nightstar Sand x20, Refined Ingot x30, Paldium Fragment x50
• Double Jump Boots (Ancient Technology 39): Nightstar Sand x20, Refined Ingot x30, Paldium Fragment x50
