Now is the best time to level alts ahead of WoW The War Within thanks to Radiant Echoes

WoW is very much an alt-focused game, so leveling alts using Radiant Echoes is easily the best choice you can make right now. There’s no faster way to get a character caught up than using this limited-time event. No matter what character level you are, you can come in and gain fast exp, lots of event currency, and even equipment for Level 70.

There might be some struggles for lower-level players before the Dalaran Hearthstone for Legion starts working, but other than that, it’s a simple, relaxing experience. Radiant Echoes will be available until the beginning of WoW The War Within, so if you have a character that you’re excited to return to, this is the time, and this is the way.

To take part in the Radiant Echoes event in WoW The War Within, you just need access to Legion Dalaran. The easiest way is to use the Dalaran Hearthstone, but you can only do that if you complete the Legion intro. We’re trying to level fast, not slow! Instead, just use the Stormwind/Orgrimmar portal room to go to Azuna, and fly to Dalaran.

This is best done when you have access to flights. Skyriding unlocks at Level 10, so once you have that, head into the various portals. Just head to the center area of Dalaran, take the portal, and walk down the stairs. One of the events is always active, so you can just dive in. It’s a wonderful way to level something new and prepare for WoW The War Within’s August launch.

It’s also recommended that you have Rest EXP stored up, and take the Daily Quest for a bit of a bonus. I logged onto a Level 45 Hunter, and in 20 minutes or so, I was Level 50. This was thanks to Rest XP, doing the Daily, and just being active in the event. You really don’t have to do too much if things are busy.

Just tag enemies and be in the various event locations. With enough people around, you can just show up and get exp without doing much of anything, but you get less of the currency for that. I prefer to play builds with an instant cast ability, so I can tag things and keep moving.

No matter what your level, you can get something out of this. You can stack useful gear, limited-time cosmetics, and catch-up gear. Since the gear is Warbound, you can also pick up Level 70 gear for other classes that need it ahead of WoW The War Within.
