The By The Wind Deviant is one of the various Deviants you can get from Prime War loot crates. To obtain crates from the Prime War, you must reach a tier of acquired points. You can get the points in the following ways:

• Dealing damage to enemies.
• Providing healing support to other meta humans.
• Setting up defenses.

There are three tiers in Prime War, and you can get the By The Wind Deviant from the tier three crate.

Since the By The Wind Deviant is a combat Deviant, you must store it in an Isolated Securement Unit and then sync it to your Cradle to use it. Then you can summon it by pressing 'E'. This Deviant can assist you in a couple of ways:

• After summoning it, you can throw it to create a Gravity Lift area on the ground, which will allow you to float.
• You can also use the Deviant in a combat assistance role. On doing so, it will create a floating zone below you, which will make you float above the ground at a fixed height.
• You will have a 20% increase in your movement speed, and your jump speed will increase by two. You will also be immune to fall damage for that period.
