Cargo Scramble in Once Human is a PvP event where you can compete against other players to earn a rare currency called Sproutlet. It can be used to purchase Legendary Mods and other rare items from an NPC vendor located in the quest hub Settlements of each region, including Deadville, Meyer's Market, Greywater Camp, and Tall Grass Inn.
This guide covers everything you need to know about the Cargo Scramble event in Once Human, including how to join it.
How to join Cargo Scramble event in Once Human
The Once Human Cargo Scramble event could occur at any time or location on the map before its random spawn rules were adjusted in the recent July 18, 2024 patch. However, no specific details were provided about the change.
The spawn rules adjustment may have increased the frequency of the event or assigned a specific time each day when this event can take place. But this is pure speculation, so until the change is confirmed, it's best to stay vigilant and keep an eye out for this event at all times.
The Once Human Cargo Scramble event is marked on the map with a cargo truck symbol and can occur on both PvE and PvP servers. To participate in this event, head to the marked location and destroy the cargo truck.
When the truck's HP reaches zero, it spawns numerous black blobs in the surrounding area called Seeds of Life. Approaching these will infect you with one on your head for a limited time. The infection timer meter will come with a countdown ID displayed at the top of your screen.
The objective of this PvP event is to eliminate as many players with blobs on their heads as possible to earn the Sproutlet currency. If you get infected in the process, then killing both infected and non-infected players will reward you with this currency.
The Once Human Cargo Scramble event ends when the Sproutlet Storage is depleted. This is displayed at the top-left corner of your screen.
