Once Human allows cooperative play, but you may need to change Worlds to make it happen. Not only must players be on the same server, but they also need to be in the same World to survive together in this harsh, survival MMO. Thankfully, there are steps to facilitate that change. However, there are restrictions regarding the transfer.
The article highlights how you can play with your friends and change Worlds. Thankfully, it’s similar to how you would change worlds in the mobile version of the game.
Steps to change worlds in Once Human
Once Human has named servers, but it also has Worlds, and you might have to change to a different one to play with friends. Worlds act as districts for servers, likely to prevent issues with overcrowding. Thankfully, it was pretty easy to change Worlds during the beta, and that likely hasn’t changed much with the game receiving its full launch.
You must complete the tutorial to change worlds and find one of the game’s Teleportation Towers. On the map, you’ll see a spot marked by a tower icon. Once you reach the tower, interact with it to receive the option to change Worlds. Simply select the one your friends are on, and you can group in-game. Whether it’s to tackle PVE content or dive into some heated PVP multiplayer, these towers can make it easier.
These Teleportation Towers also serve as fast travel locations, so they’re worth interacting with on every map, even if you don’t want to change worlds. It’s also worth noting that during the beta, your buildings would not transfer between worlds, but your inventory did. You can also switch worlds as often as preferred, so you can always go back to structures you’ve created.
