There will definitely be times when you need to craft your own ammo in Once Human - here's what you need (Image via NetEase Games)
Throughout your time in Once Human, you’re going to need a variety of ammo. As you progress deeper into this survival MMO, the challenges you face will no doubt be greater. It’s not enough to simply have a powerful gun - you’ll need decent ammunition for it to deal as much damage as possible. However, it may take some time before you can access the really good ammunition, so you may have to rely on simple copper ammo in the meantime.

There is a lot to see and do in this free-to-play survival MMO, and it’s likely that, for much of the early stages of the game, you won’t need more than copper ammo anyway. If you’re looking for something with more punch, we’ve got you covered.
Note: We’re still progressing through Once Human - as we get deeper and find more ammunition patterns, we’ll update this accordingly.

How to craft ammo in Once Human
To make ammo in Once Human, you have to go to a Supplies Workbench and craft it with Ingots and Gunpowder. Supplies Workbench can be made once you unlock the first perk under the Crafting Memetics tree.

For example, to make Copper Ammo, you need 3x Copper Ingots and 1 gunpowder. There are other blueprints in the game you can easily unlock with Memetic Points and Energy Links. However, the best ammo in Once Human will take even more work - such as overcoming the Rift Entity.
All available Ammo types in Once Human
There are four known ammo types in Once Human, broadly speaking: grenades, arrows, bullets (gun ammo), and fuel canisters for flamethrowers. The quality and damage they provide varies by tier of material (Copper, Tungsten, and so on).

Once you have a base in Once Human, it’s almost time to start crafting ammo. To do so, you will need the Supplies Workbench and have to spend Memetic Points to get the Essential Tools upgrade and Ammunition I plans. This will let you craft the two most basic things when it comes to ammunition in this game: Gunpowder and Copper Ammo.
Gunpowder, which is a basic ingredient for all gun ammo types, requires 6x sulfur, 3x charcoal, and 3x acid to craft.
Below, you’ll see all the ammo types you can easily make, along with their requirements. We will update this accordingly as we learn more. It’s worth noting though, that regardless of the type of gun ammo you’re making (Shotgun, Pistol, et cetera), the cost is the same.
