Once Human: How to expand your Territory

Territory in Once Human are zones where you can build. You can use your Territory freely to construct structures, crafting stations, buildings, and other items. If your Territory is not ideal, you can even move it on the map, as long as it doesn't overlap with other players' Territories.

Initial zones are quite limited, allowing players to build and place only a handful of things. To build more, you must expand your Territory in Once Human. If you want more space for your structures, follow these steps to expand your Territory in Once Human:

What will you get for expanding the Territory

• Enlarging your domain increases the buildable area
• It also raises the maximum number of structures you can create

Necessary items for the enhancement

• Navigate to the Building Memetic skill tree
• Locate and purchase the "Territory Expansion" enhancement
• Cost: 3 Ciphers and 200 Energy Links

Access your Territory Terminal

• Find your main Territory Terminal
• Select the "Territory Upgrade" option (shortcut key: H)

Some more details about the upgrade

• This is a tier 3 upgrade
• No prerequisites are needed
• You can simply buy the upgrade immediately if resources are available

Be careful where you expand your Territory

• Ensure your expansion won't intersect with other players' Territories
• If you can’t expand without overlapping with someone else, consider relocating

Keep in mind that Territory expansions are smaller in solo play when compared to Hives in Once Human.

Once you expand your Territory, you can upgrade it for two levels. The level benefits are:

Level 1

• Area: 12.4 Yards
• Structures: 300
• Decor & Accessories: 100
• Facilities & Furniture: 100
• Power Generators: 4

Level 2

• Area: 32.4 Yards
• Structures: 700
• Decor & Accessories: 250
• Facilities & Furniture: 250
• Power Generators: 4

Initially, level 1 will be sufficient for most players. However, if you want to plan ahead and create the most optimized and well-crafted base, you should upgrade your Territory to level 2 as soon as possible. This will allow you to plan your base with the expanded area in mind.
