The Digby Boy Deviant is one of the most useful companion types in Once Human. There are several deviant companion types to collect and raise in this MMO. They all have unique functions that will aid you in your playthrough, whether it's with combat, gathering, or crafting. There are many ways you can collect them, some being guaranteed and others being chance-based.

The Digby Boy Deviant is unfortunately not a guaranteed obtain loot in Once Human. It will require many attempts and some good luck to get this companion as a drop. Thankfully, there is at least one known way to increase the RNG chances of getting it.

To get the deviant to drop, you can mine ore. Every time you do so, there will be a chance for it to appear in your inventory. Many players have found that the most effective way to do this is to mine Silver ore. This specific type of ore vein will give you the highest chances of obtaining the companion.

The Digby Boy Deviant has one of the most useful abilities in Once Human, but especially so in the early game. Once obtained, the companion can be left at your territory and set to automatically mine ore for you. This is extremely useful as it gives you the freedom to go and explore while still gaining useful materials.

With enough of these types of gathering Deviants at your disposal, you can further automate your Once Human home base. Without the worry that you'll lack the materials needed for blueprints you collect in the world, you'll be free to do more away from home.

How to increase Digby Boy mood in Once Human

To care for your Digby Boy and keep its mood high, you'll need a few things inside your Once Human territory. First, you'll need an Independent Secure Unit to house it in. Once your deviant is inside of its unit, you can place certain things around it or attached to it that correspond with what it likes.

This companion's strongest mood boosters are music, toy, high temperature, and 5W power. To utilize these, it is recomended that you have music playing near the deviant's secure unit. Do also attach a 5W power to the unit and keep toys nearby. You should make sure to heat your unit, as this will increase its mood too.

By properly setting up your companion's Independent Secure Unit, its mood will increase far faster. With a high mood level, it will complete tasks more efficiently and make your time in Once Human far easier.
