Once Human: How to get Gazocchio (and its abilities)

Gazocchio in Once Human is one of the new Deviations added in the 'The Way of Winter' update. Deviations are companions that help you in various ways, such as actively assisting you in combat or passively gathering resources and crafting certain items. This Deviation stays in your Territory, guarding it and producing certain materials. There are two ways of getting this Deviation.

Once Human: How to get Gazocchio

Given below are the two ways of getting Gazocchio in the game:

Random drop in Wish Land East

Wish Land East is an exploration settlement in the Onyx Tundra region of northern Nalcott. It is a Level 18 area, so you can go there pretty early in the game.

In Wish Land East, you will find various enemies that appear as shadows. Bringing these shadows under specific street lights would make them materialize into their normal selves that you can damage.

You can get Gazocchio as a random drop from one of the shadows you defeat.

Completing Lowe's quest

The second method of getting this Deviation is by picking up the Gazocchio quest from Lowe at Whalebone in Vena Fjord. This quest will lead you back to Wish Land, where you must investigate Shadow Creatures.

You have to go to the Mr. Wish Octopus Cave, where you will encounter Gazocchio. After a brief chase, he will talk to you and you can capture him.

Gazocchio stays in your Territory and defends it against any intruders. He also produces various items, including the Gazocchio searchlight. This searchlight is a tactical item you can use on shadow enemies and shadow crates. It dispels the shadows and allows you to attack the enemies or access the crates.

For optimal energy regeneration, keep Gazocchio's Securement Unit under a blue light and connect it to electricity. Also, keep flowers and toys around it.
