Growshroom in Once Human is one of the friendly Deviants which means it won't attack you on sight like the others. Friendly Deviants such as the Chefausaurus Rex, Paper Butterfly, and Growshroom are very important in Once Human, as they provide players with various bonuses and perks both in and out of combat.
Growshroom is a utility Deviant, meaning it won't give you any combat bonuses but will make your base management much easier. Currently, there is only one method to obtain this Deviant. In this article, we'll share all the basic information about how to get the Growshroom in Once Human.
Guide for getting the Growshroom Deviant in Once Human
Growshroom can't be obtained by completing a quest or looting crates. Instead, it spawns every time you collect mushrooms in the game. Unlike most friendly Deviants, you don't even have to catch Growshroom once it spawns, as it directly teleports to your inventory.

To increase your chances of obtaining Growshroom, visit locations with a high concentration of mushrooms. One such location is the train tracks south of the High Banks teleporter. Fast travel there, walk alongside the train tracks and keep an eye out for fauna and bushes growing on the sides.
Among the bushes, you'll find small mushroom circles. Approach them and collect the mushrooms. If you don't find your Deviant on your first try, don't worry. Go to the nearby teleporter and change the world, then return to the spot and collect mushrooms again. Repeat this process until you get the Growshroom Deviant.

What does the Growshroom Deviant do in Once Human?
As mentioned earlier, Growshroom Deviant is a non-combat Deviant. When placed in an Isolated Secrument Chamber in your base, it will automatically plant seeds on any suitable plots available. Additionally, it will promote the growth of all the seeds it planted. The growth bonus scales with the Deviant's energy rating.
