Iridium Crystals are one of the advanced resources you'll need to craft various mid-late-game items in Once Human. These crystals can't be crafted, nor can they be collected from natural sources, making them challenging to obtain. Farming these crystals depends on RNG (Random Number Generation), and they only appear in specific locations on the map.
If you currently need these crystals, try to have a few free hours on hand, as farming them will be somewhat tedious and time-consuming. To ease your grind, we've shared all the basic information you'll need to start collecting Iridium Crystals in Once Human.
Where can you find Iridium Crystals in Once Human?
Iridium Crystals don't appear in the wild. They only appear in the settlements/strongholds in Chalk Peak. This area is on the southwestern side of the Red Sands on the map. The recommended level for the area is 30-40, but you can come even at lower levels. If you're approaching Chalk Peak at around levels 20-25, try not to engage any Elite or high-level enemies.

To find Iridium Crystals in Once Human, start exploring the strongholds that are around levels 31-40 in Chalk Peak, which include: Holt Town, Furnace Lair, Evergreen Vineyard, and Rotten Saddle. This area is also a great source of advanced minerals and Rabbits in Once Human, so it's a good idea to look around the open fields while you're there.
In the strongholds of Chalk Peak, search for Weapons, Gear, and Storage crates. These crates spawn at the strongholds and contain valuable loot like weapon blueprints, armor fragments, and resources such as Iridium Crystals. To increase your chances of finding Iridium Crystals, visit all the strongholds in the area during your playthrough.

However, if you fail to get any crystals in your run, don't worry. The crates in the strongholds reset every four hours with new loot. You can visit these locations every four hours to loot the crates until you collect the crystals. You may have to make multiple runs to get the crystals, so prepare for a grind.
