Once Human: How to get Legendary Extended Rifle Mag

Once Human features a wealth of hidden items, like the Legendary Extended Rifle Mag. Many of the most powerful weapon and armor mods are hidden out in the world behind something as simple as a Riddle. These are locations you could completely pass by if you aren’t aware of them. Thankfully, these mods are 100% drops, provided you can solve the puzzle.

Much like the Legendary Tactical SR Mag, the Legendary Extended Rifle Mag is located right out in the open in Once Human. If you want to know exactly where to find this powerful weapon mod, and how to get it, here’s everything you need to know.

Where to find Legendary Extended Rifle Mag in Once Human

What makes getting the Legendary Extended Rifle Mag so great in Once Human is it doesn’t require you to do any sneaking around - no grinding through powerful bosses like Shadow Hound to get a rare drop or anything. However, you will need to head into dangerous territory.

You need to go to the Red Sands region, to coordinates (1798, -724). This is found northwest of the Forsaken Monolith and southeast of Sunshine Farm. You want to be at the bottom of the cliff, standing right at the river. You’ll see three blue lily pads, and that’s it. If you’re having a hard time, wait until nighttime - they do glow.

Jump on the right, left, then north lily pad (clockwise) to unlock the Legendary Extended Rifle Mag in Once Human. It’s unknown at this time if there’s a timer, but you may as well do it as quickly as possible. You can get into the water and jump on the next one - you don’t have to somehow jump from pad to pad.

Success will open up a Riddle Spot Chest. It contains 2,000 Energy Link, 6 Stellar Planula, Legendary Extended Rifle Mag, and a Controller. It’s more than worth going out of the way for, given that it can be used on all SOCR and KAM weapons. You gain a bit of Reload Speed as well as +8 to your mag size.

Many weapons, regardless of their level, can benefit from the Legendary Extended Rifle Mag. Once you have it from completing this puzzle, you’re welcome to move on to greater challenges.
