Once Human: How to get Platinum Crystals

Platinum Crystals in Once Human are one of the materials that you will need to craft advanced gear and other mid-to-late game items. As you progress deeper into your Memetic tree, you unlock more advanced items and blueprints. Some of the items in the advanced stages are essential for taking on late-game bosses and threats.

However, the more advanced an item is, the harder it is to find. Platinum Crystals are among the rarest crafting components in Once Human. Don't worry, though—in this article, we have shared some methods that you can use to quickly and effectively farm Platinum Crystals in Once Human.

Platinum Crystals can't be crafted or mined. The main methods of obtaining Platinum Crystals are looting them from various crates and activating Rift Anchors, which are special tech you will find all over the map of Once Human. These machines work as a bridge between the real world and the world of Deviants.

You will need to activate Rift Anchors to progress in the game as they help summon various bosses. Every time you activate a Rift Anchor, you will be rewarded with four Platinum Crystals. The best place to use this method to farm Platinum Crystals is the Blackfell region in Red Sands, as you can find well over ten Rift Anchors around the location, yielding around 40 Platinum Crystals in one go.

Another method for farming Platinum Crystals in the game is to loot them from Storage Crates. The Blackfell region once again can be used as a great option for farming Platinum Crystals with this method because the location is filled with various buildings and other points of interest where storage crates containing Platinum Crystals can appear.

Loot as many crates as you can in Blackfell in a run, and don't feel disheartened if you fail to get as many as you were hoping for. The Storage Crates restock every four hours, so you can come back again and give it another go. Use these methods correctly, and eventually, you can collect enough Platinum Crystals in Once Human.

One of the essential things that you will need to make using the Platinum Cystals is the Advanced Gear Workbench. Using the Advanced Gear Workbench, you can make advanced weapons and armor. Crafting some of the tier V weapons also requires the Platinum Crystals in Once Human.
