Once Human: How to get Snowsprite Deviation (and its abilities)

Snowsprite in Once Human is a new Deviation companion that was added in the The Way of Winter update. There are various Deviation companions in the game, and they can assist you in three ways: combat, gathering, or crafting. The Snowsprite Deviation is a Combat Deviation that will actively assist you while you engage enemies. Like most other Deviations, you will get a quest from Lowe to obtain this Deviation. However, it is the only way you can get it in this free-to-play survival MMO.

This article will explain how you can get the Snowsprite Deviation in Once Human and what its abilities are.

Once Human: How to get Snowsprite

To get this Deviation, you must pick up the Deviant: Snowsprite Quest from Lowe at the Ice House Camp in northern Nalcott's Onyx Tundra region. You must then talk to Ridley, who will tell you to investigate the Moose City Food Factory.

Once you reach there, you will see that the temperature suddenly goes down and the place is filled with ice blocks. These blocks will be obstructing doorways and passages, so you must melt them using Molotov Cocktails or a Torch.

Follow the marker to the power generator. You will find that you need a keycard to turn it on. The keycard will be with one of the factory workers who are frozen in ice. Use Molotovs or your Torch to melt three of them and find out which of them has the keycard.

After getting the card, turn on the generator, and head to the marked room. Upon entering the room, turn left and run through the rows of shelves till you reach the end. There, you will find stairs leading to the basement. Follow the stairs down and melt through the ice you encounter.

The Snowsprite Deviation will be in the last room of the basement, and you simply have to capture it.

Snowsprite is a combat Deviation that can assist you in combat in two ways. Its combat ability causes Ice Damage, and you can either designate a target for direct damage or use auto attack where the Deviation will target multiple enemies simultaneously. It creates ice crystals around the enemies, and if you shoot the crystals, they explode and cause damage.

For optimal mood regeneration, keep the Snowsprite's Securement Unit in a cold environment and under blue and green lighting.
