Defeat Rift Entity in the Avalanche Monolith

The first method involves defeating the Rift Entity in the Avalanche Monolith. This is considered a simpler route, as the Rift Entity is relatively easy to defeat.

The Avalanche Monolith is located in the Vena Fjord region of northern Nalcott and is designated as a Level 25 area. The Rift Entity you encounter is a variant of the Treant, which you had previously defeated in the Gaia Cliff Monolith during the first season of the game.

Once you defeat the Rift Entity, the Tar Pudding Deviant will appear, and all you need to do is capture it.

Complete Lowe's quest

The second method requires you to undertake the Tar Pudding Quest, which you can get from Lowe.

This approach is more tedious as it involves navigating the Ember Sands region of northern Nalcott, which only unlocks in the second phase of Once Human. This means that you cannot complete this quest during the first phase of the game.

Tar Pudding is a Territory Deviant. This means it passively gathers Portable Mixed Fuel from around your Territory. It also boosts the efficiency of your fuel refining facility by accelerating the conversion process.

For optimal Mood Regeneration, ensure the Securement Unit remains under a blue light and in a cold environment.
