If you want to hold more Deviants in Once Human, you need to increase the Isolated Securement Unit count. At first, you can only place so many in your base, and you will be required to put a little effort in if you want to increase your count. You may have stumbled across quite a few bases in your travels that feature rows of Isolated Securement Units. While it might be fine to just have a few at first, you’re definitely going to want Securement Units that are focused on specific Deviants.

This might be the case for Space Turner Deviant so you can farm the Space Twister item. No matter the reason, if you’ve found the need for more Isolated Securement Units in Once Human, here’s how to correct the problem in your base.

Increasing your Isolated Securement Unit count in Once Human

If you want to increase your Isolated Securement Unit count in Once Human, you need to go into the Memetic Cradle. That is done via the Inventory, and selecting Memetic Cradle. Go to the Logistics tab, and scroll to the Ascendance portion of the menu. You’ll find both Securement Unit Expansion I and Securement Unit Expansion II here.

To unlock Securement Unit Expansion I, you just need Three Ciphers and 200 Energy Links. This will increase your overall count to 10, from the five you start with. Later, you’ll be able to increase this further, with Securement Unit Expansion II. You need the first one already unlocked.

Unlocking Securement Unit Expansion II will cost you seven Ciphers, and 2,000 Energy Links. However, it will increase the Isolated Securement Unit count to 20, giving you more than enough. In addition, this will let you place the Units anywhere you want in your base. However, you still need the resources to make these Units in the first place.

That will cost you:

  • Metal Scrap x20
  • Copper Ingot x15
  • Glass x10

Thankfully, these are not rare resources by any stretch of the imagination. As you begin to amass an army of Deviants to help you farm, fight, and secure useful items, you’ll want as many of these Isolated Securement Units as possible.

The Isolated Securement Units are used to hold the various Deviant in Once Human that you collect. If you want to utilize them in your base or combat, they need to be stored in one of these devices. Right now, there are two upgrades you can get to increase your total count, but that may change in the future.
