Lost in Madness is one of the quests in Once Human that will send you on various adventures across the Island of Nalcott. To complete it, you will have to use a treasure map and find your way to the Cultist Treasure. The level requirement here is seven, but you need to be at least 32+ to enter one area.
Despite the low-level requirement, many struggle to beat the Lost in Madness quest. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you complete it and find the Cultist Treasure.
Once Human Lost in Madness quest: Decoding the treasure map
To start the Lost in Madness quest, you must get your hands on the Cultist Treasure map. This can be found inside a BN store near the Coastside Plaza settlement.
The map will point you toward Chalk Peak. This region is in the northwest part of the map. Its only drawback is that you need to be level 32+ to gain access to it. Otherwise, the barrier will kill you instantly.
You need to farm as much XP as you can if you want to finish the Lost in Madness quest. Once you reach level 32, proceed to Chalk Peak.

Once Human Lost in Madness quest: Finding the Cultist Treasure
Once you get to Chalk Peak, make your way to the Tall Grass Inn, located in the southern region of the map. From there, look west until you spot a Monolith-like structure. Compare the shape of this structure to your treasure map, and you'll be able to pinpoint the location of the Cultist Treasure.
Once decoded, head towards the treasure, and you will find yourself in Believer Colony. This is directly west of the Tall Grass Inn between the monolith.
You should now be able to get your hands on the Cultist Treasure and finish the Lost in Madness quest. If you're having trouble, try opening the Believer's Treasure Chest found inside Believer Colony.
