Manibus in Once Human is one of the main bosses in the game. This boss can't be killed completely; in its encounter, all you can do is destroy one of its giant tentacles. Manibus is a god-like entity in the stardust-polluted world of Once Human. It controls the twisted and terrifying mutated creatures that roam the game's map.
Manibus is a public crisis event, meaning you don't need to face it alone. You can bring your friends or team up with other players to take it down. While this massive creature has a lot of HP, it's not particularly difficult to defeat. In this guide, we share all you need to know about taking down this boss.
How to start the Manibus Boss Fight in Once Human
To start the fight against Manibus, you need to track the "Close Encounter" event. Once you start doing so, you can share your server world in the world chat to find allies for the fight. While the boss can be taken down alone, its massive health bar makes solo play potentially frustrating, so try bringing some extra firepower.

Once you reach the encounter location, you'll see a massive red portal appear in the sky. As you get closer to the portal, giant tentacles will emerge. The tentacles are a mix of octopus limbs and human hands. These are the limbs of Manibus, and they're just as terrifying as they sound.
The tentacles don't have many attacks, but they can spawn powerful purple orbs that follow you and deal damage upon contact. If you get too close, the tentacles can also deal melee damage. Additionally, Manibus will continuously spawn various Deviant mobs that can harm you if you're not careful.

The best way to defeat Manibus' tentacles is to focus fire on its weak points. You can find purple bulbs near its wrists. Concentrate on them, and eventually, the HP of the tentacles will drop enough for the Manibus to retreat to its portal. The best strategy for this boss fight is to stand on a building's roof and shoot at the weak spots. Notably, if you solo defeat the Manibus in hard mode, you will have completed a Seasonal goal in the game.
