The Strange Empty House quest in Once Human is a side quest that you will encounter while exploring the map. It is a house that keeps on vanishing and then reappears at random locations. You will come across the quest near the Chalk Peaks region, a level 32 area, and talking to an NPC named Jeremiah will activate the quest. Progress through the story to get to him and start the mission.

This article will walk you through the locations where you need to go and what you need to do in order to finish this quest.

All locations of the Strange Empty House quest in Once Human

Jeremiah's location

The first location for this quest is where you will find Jeremiah, who will assign the quest. You will come across him by the lake, just a little north-west of the Tall Grass Inn in the Chalk Peak region in Once Human.

Speak to him, and he will tell you about a house that keeps vanishing. He wants you to look into it as he thinks that there is a Deviant in it and then proceeds to give you four locations where you might find the house.

The house might appear at any of the four locations, so you might need to travel around a bit.

These are the four locations:

Whispering Pines: The house might be hiding in the woods, so you should look around the forest edges.
Evergreen Vineyard: Survey the area around the buildings and grapevines.
Abandoned Quarry: The ground in the area is broken up, and the house might be hiding around the rocks or the machines.
Hale's Moving House: The house might be any of the buildings in the area, so look around carefully.

When you find the Strange Empty House, it might be either on the ground or standing on its legs. If it's the latter, you need to shoot the legs to make it topple and then get inside.

This leads you to the Hale's Moving House quest in Once Human. There is a chance that you might come across Hale's Moving House before you do the Strange Empty House quest.

After entering the house, you will see three hands sticking out from the ground, over which there will be three glowing orbs floating. Shoot the hands, and the orbs will be absorbed by three random items in the house. It can be paintings, flower pots, and lights. You can use a quick search by pressing 'Q' and it will highlight the objects for you.

Shoot the three objects, and then a loot crate will appear at around the same spot where the three hands are, and you can get the Disco Ball Deviant companion from the loot. After that, return to Jeremiah, and that ends the Strange Empty House quest.
