Best locations to mine Startrace Ores in Once Human
Here are the best locations to mine Startrace Ores in Once Human:
- Northeast of Rippleby (Latitude: 7749, Longitude: -3680): At the eastern edges of the Iron River region.
- Northwest of Alpha Institute (Latitude: -1128, Longitude: -2443): At the western edges of the Chalk Peak region.
It is more efficient to farm nodes in the Iron River region compared to the Chalk Peak region. The nodes in Iron River spawn closer together, making them faster to mine. Moreover, it's a lower-level area (Level 28) compared to the higher-level Chalk Peak region (Level 36).
There are around five or six Startrace Ore nodes at the edges of the Iron River region. You can mine about 80 ores from each node using an Electric Rock Drill. The upgraded Advanced version of this drill offers even higher Mining Efficiency. Farming all these nodes will yield around 300 ores.

To craft Stardust Source in Once Human, you must first unlock the Gathering Memetics Mastery called Oil Processing. This will unlock the recipe for this rare resource, which can be crafted in an Electric Furnace using Startrace Ores and Portable Mixed Fuel.
The fuel is the rarer of these ingredients and can be farmed from abandoned vehicles around the map. Vehicles in higher-level regions yield more fuel.
