According to a recently released Q&A, the developers revealed that the Luna Oracle Update will introduce new difficulties and encounters. Players will face more aggressive Deviants, mutated bosses, and tougher battles, such as The Prime War and Stronghold Fights.

The Luna Oracle Update is the first step in a year-long initiative to deepen the gameplay of Once Human. Players can look forward to new scenarios, such as Code: Broken and Code: Deviation, which aim to increase the game’s replayability and variety. In the developers' words:

"This year, we will focus on replayability and variety, including new scenarios like Code: Broken and Code: Deviation."

During the night (between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM in-game, corresponding to 15 real-world minutes), the game will become more challenging. To help players handle the increased difficulty, three new weapon genres and three new guns will be introduced.

Additionally, new mods will be added, allowing for further customization of builds. While the existing mod system remains unchanged, further optimizations are planned for March.

The new Luna Oracle scenarios are designed to reward players for taking risks with better rewards. The new season will feature Oracle Crates, which are unique to each player, reducing competition. Limited-time features, such as exclusive Deviations, animals, and mods, will also be introduced, but they can be accessed through alternative means after the event.

When the update rolls out, a free Scenario Exit Card will be distributed, allowing players to seamlessly switch to Luna Oracle scenarios. Cooldowns on existing Exit Cards will also be reset after the update. Notably, the new season will only be available on servers with the Luna Oracle tag, and the high-difficulty mode will be temporarily discontinued.
