Warframe's Alert menu is suffering from success right now. This holographic projection gives you a rundown of important ongoing events and alerts. As it turns out, there's too much going on—the panel has become so tall that the top is unreadable. To top things off, this panel is the first thing you see once you log in, and it did not take long for this absurdity to become a big conversation on the game's subreddit.
A big quality-of-life update is coming to Warframe this fall, but Reddit user Longbow92 sums up the top-priority feature at the moment: a ladder.
The top comment on the post invokes the most familiar imagery this reminds us of:
"Ordis proceeds to play the Star Wars intro OST"
The Alert panel is visible right on top of the Navigation panel, where you chart out your next foray in the sci-fi looter shooter. Ironically, the panel itself isn't navigable. It started piling up over the weekend, and right now you can't make out the finer details.
In fact, it's ridiculous enough that the number of players pointing it out with a Reddit post is becoming a long list unto itself, says Turbotortule:
"You mean the amount of the same exact post pointing out how long is the mission log thing? Yeah, it's ridiculous."
If anything, it is a spectacle for players—as spectacular as the bombastic credits sequence from Star Wars. As mentioned, it is the most common likeness, and the number of people referring back to it reflects that.
Warframe's Alert panel is clipping through the ship due to an overabundance of alerts
Warframe's Alert panel is officially too long, but why is that? It's because the game is having the most active season; in the most active year of its history. After the conclusion of a wildly exhilarating TennoCon 2024, there are tons of events going on at the same time:
- A visit to the Hollvania Central Mall location as a teaser for what's coming in Warframe 1999.
- A Ghoul Purge event.
- A Thermia Fracture event.
- This year's Dog Days seasonal event.
- Baro's TennoCon Relay, an exhaustive Baro inventory resale for TennoCon Digital Ticket owners.
This could be easily resolved by adding an auto-scroller to the Alert panel. Maybe we'll see that in one of the three upcoming Warframe updates this year. Meanwhile, here are other articles on this game you can peruse:
