Palworld players might want to know the best Crude Oil base locations as farming this resource would be easier by creating a separate base for it. With the latest Sakurajima update, Pocketpair has increased the total number of bases that you can create, and many would opt for a new Crude Oil base as it is set to be an important late-game resource.

In this article, we will look at some of the best Crude Oil base locations in Palworld, that would give you a strategic advantage, while also allowing you to farm other materials that might make your time and effort worthwhile.

Best Crude Oil base locations in Palworld Sakurajima Island

The Sakurajima Island offers quite a few places to build a new base for Crude Oil. However, here are some of the best Crude Oil base locations in Palworld:

Location 1: Coordinates (-513,186)

This area is my personal favorite for a Crude Oil base location in Palword. It has accommodations for two Crude Oil Extractors and is shielded by a cliff on one side. This essentially makes the base open to only the front side, making it safe against most enemy raids. This base also offers multiple coal resources.

The two Extractors are quite far apart in this one, and there is ample space to build other stuff like a Mining Station perhaps, transforming it into a full-fledged resource-farming base in Palworld.

Location 2: Coordinates (-371,133)

This location has resources like Stone, Sulfur, and Coal (Image via Pocketpair, Inc.)

Perched on top of a cliff, this is easily one of the best Crude Oil Base locations because it offers access to two rarer resources - Coal and Sulfur. The two Crude Oil extraction locations are beside each other, making it easier to collect and store them in this base.

This base is situated on a high ground, and the cliff slopes steeply into the water body on both two sides. Raids can ideally happen only from one side, as the other leads to a dead-end.

Location 3: Coordinates (-646,270)

Similar to the last location, this one also offers two Crude Oil extraction locations and has an abundance of Coal, Sulfur, and Stone. However, what sets it apart is a backdrop amid the Sakura Blossoms, reminiscent of the springtime serenity of Japan.

The base is located on high ground, which automatically makes it a decent location against raids. If visual aesthetics and a farming location with good resources appeal to you, then this is definitely one of the best Crude Oil base locations in Palworld.
