In the Palworld Feybreak update, the newly added Tower Bosses, Bjorn and Bastigor, are some of the most challenging foes you'll face. These bosses take full advantage of the increased level cap of 60 introduced in the v0.4.11 patch. If you want to emerge victorious, preparation and strategy are key.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to beat Bjorn and Bastigor in Palworld Feybreak while keeping your adventure exciting.
Steps to beat Bjorn and Bastigor in Palworld Feybreak
1) Level up and prepare your team
Bjorn and Bastigor in Palworld Feybreak are level 60 bosses, so both you and your Pals should be at the maximum capacity to have a fighting chance. Other than that, your gears and Pals must also be optimized for this particular fight.
Recommended Pals to use
Bastigor is an Ice-type Pal which makes it weak to Fire-based elements. So, create a group of Fire-type Pals and gear them up to level 60:
Jormuntide Ignis:
- Neutral against Ice damage, making it a safe pick.
- Mountable for a fire damage boost.
- Can equip up to three fire-based active skills.
Blazamut:
- Learns Fire Ball, a skill dealing 150 fire damage.
- Mountable for an additional fire damage bonus.
Incineram:
- Another excellent Fire-based Pal that can use Fire Ball to deal heavy damage.
If possible, use the Flame Emperor Passive Skill on your Pals via chain breeding to enhance Fire attacks by 20% against Bjorn and Bastigor.
Upgrade Pal Stats
Before the battle, boost the HP, Attack, and Defense of your Pals using the Statue of Power. This is a percentage-based upgrade that takes more Pal Souls at higher levels.

2) Equip the right gear
The proper gear is essential to winning this battle with Bjorn and Bastigor. Ensure all your weapons, armor, and shields are up to the mark:
Weapon:
- Use the Plasma Cannon for maximum damage output.
- If unavailable, Rocket Launcher is a good substitute; however, this may require crafting schematics.
Armor:
- Arm the Cold Resistant Hexolite Armor to reduce Bastigor's Ice damage.
- Pair it with the Hexolite Helmet for balanced defense.
Shield:
- Use the Advanced Shield for maximum protection.
Most of this equipment unlocks between Levels 58 and 60, so make sure to craft or collect them before engaging with Bjorn and Bastigor.
3) The Battle Plan
Bjorn and Bastigor is a dynamic duo with devastating ranged and AoE attacks. Here's how to handle them:
Tackling Bastigor's attacks
- Kite Bastigor around pillars: His ranged attacks can be avoided by kiting around the arena's pillars.
- Dodge with precision: Most of his attacks place a mark on the ground before exploding. Dodge while scoped into your gun to increase evade distance, thus avoiding the impact of damage.
- Avoid the arena's edges: Staying at the edges leaves you open to being cornered and Bastigor can then pounce and freeze you.
Divide the battefront
- Give Bastigor a solid Pal to target, like Jormuntide Ignis. Its neutral Ice resistance and fire abilities make it perfect for this role.
- Bjorn, of course, takes priority. From a safe distance, shoot at him with your Plasma Cannon or other ranged weapons to take his health down.
Coordinate Aggro and damage
- Change from offense to defense by calling your Pal back if needed. If you're mounted, press E (If playing on PC) twice to call your Pal beside you for strategic advantage.
- Having defeated Bjorn, now it's all about Bastigor. Use all the attacks on Bastigor and exploit his weakness for Ice-type attacks until he is defeated.
