Players might wonder how to reach Sakurajima Island in Palworld before they can get their hands on the new content that has been released. Palworld focuses on an exploration-based map unlock system, so players have to reach and explore a particular area before it can appear on their in-game map. As such, many may be confused about the location of Sakurajima Island since it does not readily show up on the map.
In this article, we will tell you how you can reach Sakurajima Island in Palworld. It is fairly straightforward, you will need to teleport to a particular waypoint and travel a short distance.

The bottom lines
While you may be able to reach Sakurajima Islands in Palworld easily, it is not the friendliest of areas for beginners. You should ideally be above level 50 before tackling this area, as the wild Pals can easily one-shot you here even at level 45.
With the new Sakurajima update, the player level cap has been increased from 50 to 55. This was likely done to accommodate the high-level and high-damage Pals that inhabit the lands of Sakurajima Island.
