Divine Orbs are the pinnacle of trading currencies in Path of Exile 2. Players will need one of these to purchase the most powerful gear piece for their builds or sometimes a key to a pinnacle boss, among other things. In short, having a Divine Orb in your inventory provides an option to approach certain aspects of the game, most of them being endgame.

We list the best ways to earn a Divine Orb. Note that it is best farmed in trading leagues. Solo self-found (SSF) players must rely on drops to get this piece of currency, so there's no optimal way to farm them except for maybe rarity stacking on armor and killing rare enemies.

Best Divine Orb farm methods in Path of Exile 2

Divine Orbs can be earned in several ways. Most of them involve selling and currency exchange, which are easier compared to getting them as a drop from enemies. Several league mechanics can help players earn several Divines per hour or multiple Exalted Orbs, too, which can then be accumulated and exchanged into Divine Orbs.

At the time of writing, one Divine Orb is equivalent to 86 Exalted Orbs in the market. Hence, approach the following methods with that ratio in mind. The two primary ways we will go over are Ritual and Breach league mechanics, followed by a few more activities that can drop several Exalted Orbs per run.

Ritual

Ritual should be your go-to stop for currency farming, especially for large chunks of Exalted Orbs and sometimes multiple Divine Orbs, given you get lucky once every 10 maps. In Ritual, you are looking for the "Audience with the King," which is going for six to seven Divines in the market currently (December 2024).

Other items, such as a few Omens are going for several Exalts, which can then be collected to exchange for one Divine. Readers can refer to our complete guide on Ritual to see how the mechanics work. However, once you are farming Ritual, keep an eye on the two aforementioned currencies.

Breach

Breach should be your secondary objective for Divines, as the conversion rate from Exalt to Divine is lower than Ritual. Here, you are looking to get Breach Splinters from the fight and collect 300 of them for one Breachstone. These can be used to fight the Breach pinnacle boss or sold for 60 Exalted Orbs.

We recommend taking the long route and utilizing each Breachstone for the boss. This way, you can earn two Atlas tree points for each boss skill and then use those points to enhance Breach encounters on your map. Doing so will result in increased Breach Splinters, leading to faster Breachstone gains from running Breaches.

Refer to our complete guide on Breach for more clarity on how the entire mechanics work.

Ultimatum and Essences will be your friend if you are looking to farm a chunk of Exalted Orbs per run. The former drops an increased amount of Chaos Orbs that sell for 2 Exalted Orbs each, and the final boss in the 10th room can drop a Fate key for the Trialmaster boss, which can go for a few Exalts as well.

Lastly, look for Soul Cores that grant Chaos Resistance and Elemental Resistance for more Exalted Orbs.

Regarding Essences, look for Greater Essences that go for 30-50 Exalted Orbs, depending on the modifier. For this, take all five Essence nodes on the Atlas tree.

An additional tip for getting a Divine Orb is to price-check every rare and unique piece you get as a drop. The trading site for Path of Exile 2 is a great place for that.
