Path of Exile 2: How to get Ingenuity Unique Utility Belt

Out of all the Unique belts in Path of Exile 2, the Ingenuity Unique Utility Belt may be the most desired — or at least, very close to it. It features an incredible effect that enhances some of the other gear you’re equipped with. Combine this with the right equipment, and go from an average player in PoE 2, to a nigh-unstoppable killing machine, slaughtering everything in your path.

However, like all Uniques, it takes a lot of work and a bit of RNG to find them. We don’t have a guaranteed drop location, like Diablo 4’s Uniques, but Path of Exile 2 has something D4 doesn’t, when it comes to finding items like the Ingenuity Unique Utility Belt. Here’s what you have available in-game.

Tips on acquiring the Ingenuity Unique Utility Belt in Path of Exile 2

There are two ways to unlock the Ingenuity Unique Utility Belt in Path of Exile 2: purchasing it outright or farming The King in the Mists in the Atlas of Worlds. The easiest way to get the belt is to purchase it if you have enough Divine Orbs.

Unfortunately, as of this writing, I didn't have the Divine Orbs to purchase the belt, though I do want it for my collection. What makes it so special is that it increases the bonuses gained from Equipped Rings. With the right rings, this can be a real game-changer.

If you want to try and purchase the Ingenuity Unique Utility Belt, either download the Trade Mod for Path of Exile 2 or head to the trade website for PoE 2. There, you can search for Ingenuity, and see what the going costs are. Right now, it’s going between five and seven Divine Orbs, but this price has been higher before.

Your other option is to get to the endgame and have the Audience with the King currency. This allows you to fight the Pinnacle Boss version of The King in the Mists. You may find it in the Ritual Altar’s inventory after clearing several waves of enemies; however, it’s not usually cheap, with around 2,700 to 3,900 Tribute. If you can’t afford it, look at the Favours menu, select An Audience with the King, and Defer it. That means it will show up later, for less Tribute.

The downside here, is even if you have An Audience with the King, you use it on the Realmgate in the Atlas of Worlds to challenge the Pinnacle Boss. It can drop one of five uniques, including the Ingenuity Unique Utility Belt in Path of Exile 2. The good news is you can just keep fighting him until he drops it.

The bad news is that this is a terrifying encounter and has some attacks that can one-shot most players, in addition to the boss’s normal moveset. You could pay someone to carry you through the fight, and hopefully it drops that way. Frankly, the easiest way is to cough up some Divine Orbs and use the trading system.

You can buy An Audience with the King on the trade site, but be prepared to cough up over 720 Exalted Orbs at the time of writing. You cannot get Ingenuity anywhere else in the game; only through The King in the Mists, or the trade site, do you have a hope of seeing this belt drop.
