Path of Exile 2’s Tribal Vengeance is one of the most important side quests in Act 3, especially if you care about your Spirit stat. In this quest, you’ll be heading to the Azak Bog to assist Servi. She needs Ignaduk, the Bog Witch slain once and for all. This can be considered a very challenging side quest too, depending on your build, and your level. The Azak Bog as a map is a level 35 map, so you should be at least at the same level before going in.
Being one of the quests that offers players a permanent stat boost makes it more important than some of the other tasks you could be doing. The Trial of Chaos can be incredibly difficult anyway — why not beat up a Bog Witch instead? Here’s how to complete Tribal Vengeance in Path of Exile 2.
How to complete Tribal Vengeance in Path of Exile 2
You’ll begin Tribal Vengeance in Path of Exile 2 by reaching the Azak Bog map. It connects to the Infested Barrens map, and once you reach the bog, interact with the Summon Servi icon to get everything started. This is a pretty massive map, and while it may seem confusing, it won’t be too hard to find this optional campaign boss.
- Summon Servi for Advice About the Carver
- Find Ignaduk in the Carver Village
- Kill Ignaduk
- Pick up Ignaduk’s Ghastly Spear
- Return to Town and Talk to Servi
Since the Carver village in Azak Bog is massive, I recommend skirting the outsides of it and going down routes towards the middle when you can. Regardless of the method you have for traversing maps, do what works best for you. In my experience, Tribal Vengeance’s Ignaduk the Bog Witch was in the dead center of the map.
There will be a Checkpoint outside of her area, Gor-gor Mog. She has the largest open space on the map as well, so it will stand out compared to the other smaller sections of Azak Bog in Path of Exile 2. Within, you will Find Ignauk in the Carver Village.
The Kill Ignauk step might be a little harder for melee players. She spends a great deal of the early fight flying around on her broomstick, making it hard to land decisive blows. If you take the time to explore this area and use the Flameskin Ritual, you’ll have more Fire Resistance, which you’ll need.
Ignaduk the Bog Witch will rain down on this map with plenty of Fire AOE spells. You also want to stay out of the Red AOEs since those create bone explosions. She can also try to trap you within two lines of bone, which will have gouts of flame fill it. In the middle of these, flamethrower attacks, and other fire balls, it's a rough fight. Stay mobile, and strike when you have an opening. Before long, you can defeat this boss and move on with Tribal Vengeance in Path of Exile 2.
She’s weak to Cold, so do keep that in mind — though fiery builds work too if you have Flammability. Just stay out of reach of her fire attacks and beat her down until she drops. When she does, grab the Gemrot Skull for a Spirit boost. Then Pick up Ignaduk’s Ghastly Spear and Return to Town and Talk to Servi. That will wrap this quest up and allow you to continue your adventures.
