Destiny 2 Exotic mission Encore leaks: Emblems, Choir of One weapon, main mechanic, Catalyst perks, and more

Destiny 2 Echoes Act 3 will bring in an Exotic quest that is scheduled to tie in with the seasonal storyline. With Starcrossed being active last season, it is a nice thing for the community to be getting two Exotic quests back-to-back in two seasons, although the monthly gap between them has been quite long.

Nevertheless, new content is always appreciated by everyone, and with Act 3 being a month away, players are excited to get their hands on a Weapon and mission.

This article lists all the leaks that have been revealed regarding the Exotic mission, called Encore. As an overview, Bungie claimed that Encore is going to be the game's longest Exotic mission in history, with an Exotic Void Auto Rifle being the primary reward.

There seem to be emblem rewards for completing the mission in different difficulties as well, alongside multiple catalyst quests for the weapon.

All Encore Exotic mission leaks for Destiny 2 Echoes Act 3

1) Rewards

As mentioned, the primary reward from the Encore mission is a Void Auto Rifle, called Choir of One. According to BungieLeaks, here are the two main traits of the weapon.

Intrinsic trait Command Frame I to IV:

"Fires extended-range, heavy-caliber projectiles at a reduced rate of fire. Deals increased precision damage when aiming down sights."

Exotic trait Fanatical Lance:

"Rapid final blows cause targets to explode into a pool of radiolarian fluid. Hip firing launches multiple projectiles at once in a slower moving spread pattern. Projectiles detonate on impact."

Exotic catalysts include Destabilizing Rounds, Onslaught, and Subsistence. Similar to past quests, players can either run the quest at higher difficulty to get one catalyst per week or run the mission one time once all three catalysts arrive.

The weapon will also receive an Exotic ornament from Day 1, called Raised Voice. Readers will find that Choir of One is using Special Ammo in the leaked videos. However, BungieLeaks did claim that the usage of Special Ammo remains unknown.

As for other rewards, completing the Encore Exotic mission in both standard and Expert will drop two different Destiny 2 emblems.

The Transient Whisperer is the one that will given upon completing Encore in any difficulty, while the Expert emblem reward is called Before Aurora.

2) Quest locations and possible mechanic

The starting node of the Destiny 2 Encore Exotic quest seems to be from HELM, including both the standard and Expert difficulty. Here are the leaked location names that are inside the mission:

According to BungieLeaks, the primary mechanic tied to the Encore mission is about picking up and installing Vex Modules in specific Node Sequences. Additionally, there also seems to be a new hub within the mission, which is possibly locked behind a triumph or the story.

3) Enemies

Aside from the fact that enemies will most likely be Vex, the community got to know the names of all the bosses/mini-bosses that will be present in the mission. Based on their names, three of them seem to be Vex, with two being Cabal. They are as follows:

Stasimon, Choral Mind
Exodos, Choral Mind
Parodos, Choral Mind
Eexonios, Pledged to Yirix
Iziira, Pledged to Yirix

Yirix is a Psion in the Destiny 2 story who leads a conclave to steal and utilize life-draining tech. Her name was mentioned two times in the story, once in Season of the Chosen, and then in Season of the Risen.
