What to expect from Rust Force Wipe for August 2024

With the latest Force Wipe, players can expect the addition of brand-new items in the game. While the items in question have not yet been officially teased, the Staging Branch leaks indicate that the title will feature unique new trap systems and other mechanics.

Starting with the Tin Can Alarm, this new item can be deployed in any area of the map, including monuments. It is an audio alarm that gets triggered whenever players step on the mechanism. The alarm cues, as per the Staging Branch display, will ring loud and clear in a 50m radius. This new item will be a great way for solos and small groups to take control of monuments in the game.

Secondly, players may also see the introduction of a brand-new Boomerang weapon in Rust. It will be part of the primitive kit featured in the game and will be craftable potentially without the need for any Workbenches.
