Shadow Price returns with The Final Shape expansion in Destiny 2. One of the oldest Auto Rifles in the game currently packs the newest perk combinations, making it a great weapon to have with the ongoing sandbox. Shadow Price fires at 450 RPM, which falls in the "Precision Frame" category of weapon archetypes. They usually wield a better advantage in base Range and damage, both of which can be enhanced further with additional perks.

This article lists the best perks to have on the new and improved Shadow Price Auto Rifle in 2024, for PvE and PvP.

The best perks to have on the Shadow Price for PvE are as follows:

  • Arrowhead Brake for reduced vertical recoil and increased Handling
  • Appended Mag for increased magazine size
  • Strategist for gaining class ability energy with final blows
  • Voltshot for jolting targets for a few seconds after reloading the weapon on kill

Each perk can be enhanced in the standard version of the weapon.

Demolitionist is a great replacement for Voltshot, as it can grant Grenade energy alongside Strategist's class ability energy. For damaging elites and high-power targets, the combination of Attrition Orbs and Surrounded is recommended. The former can spawn an Orb of Light with sustained hits, while the latter deals 40% increased damage with three or more enemies nearby.

One for All can be a great damage perk too, as hitting three enemies will count towards a 35% damage bonus against all targets for 10 seconds. The enhanced version can increase the duration by 1 second. Since Shadow Price cannot be crafted, it is important to take all these perks into account.

The best perks to have on the Shadow Price for PvP are as follows:

  • Polygonal Rifling for increased Stability on the weapon
  • Accurized Rounds for increased Range
  • Surplus for increased Handling, Reload Speed, and Stability based on each fully-charged ability
  • Gutshot Straight for increased body-shot damage against Guardians after aiming. reduced aim-assist cone size by 55% as well.

Sadly, there aren't any more perks that we can recommend to be decent on the new Shadow Price for PvP.
