Once Human is a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) that features a "stardust-ravaged" world, which has caused most humans to turn into hideous and terrifying otherworldly creatures. In the game, you and other players take on the role of Meta-Humans, the last remaining survivors of the pollution, and it's your job to make a stand. In terms of gameplay, Once Human uses various features to motivate players to band together against these eldritch foes.
For example, just before you attempt a boss battle, the game prompts a message instructing you to team up with others. But should you team up or go solo in boss battles in Once Human? The simple answer to that question is Yes, you should team up against bosses in Once Human.
Why you should team up instead of going solo in Once Human
Simply put, there is very little incentive to fight solo in Once Human. It has been crafted from the beginning to be an online live-service game, where players can help each other fight, build, and grow, especially on the PvE servers. Unlike the PvP server, you don't directly hurt other players here.

The difference between taking on a boss solo and with a team is essentially the rise in the difficulty curve. Each boss has mechanics like spawning multiple pods that birth side enemies in the arena or make the boss itself invincible until destroyed. Taking care of these mechanics alone can be frustrating. On the other hand, in a team, one player can distract the boss while others clear the field.
Allegedly, fighting bosses solo gives more character experience, but the finishing rewards are the same regardless of whether you go solo or with a team. Besides bosses, Once Human also has features like the Hive and Warband. These are co-op groups where fans can band together to build in a shared territory for faster growth and better chances of survival.

Overall, Once Human is a game that encourages players to team up and help each other where possible. Keep in mind that it's not wrong to go alone if you enjoy a harder difficulty curve. The game doesn’t halt you from going solo. However, for an optimal experience, we recommend teaming up against bosses and other encounters when possible in Once Human.
