Someday is one of the eight Legendary weapons from Pale Heart, added with Destiny 2 The Final Shape. It is a Kinetic Precision Framed Shotgun, so it comes with increased base Impact and Range, making it potent against Guardians in PvP and stronger enemies in PvE. Someday can be craftable like all of its peers, making the chase for god roll easier in this case.

This article lists the best perks to have on the Someday Shotgun from the Pale Heart destination for Destiny 2 PvP and PvE. Note that this is a Precision Framed and not a Pinpoint-Slug Framed weapon. The former still has a significant pallet spread leading to one-shotting any Guardian with body shots, while the latter requires a shot to the head for Guardian kills.

Here is a list of perks recommended on the Someday Shotgun for PvP:

Full Choke for tightened barrel for less spread of pallet.
Accurized Rounds for increased Range on the weapon.
Threat Detector for increased Handling, Stability, and Reload speed when enemies are nearby.
Opening Shot for increased Range and Accuracy with the first shot of the magazine.

Vorpal Weapon and Swashbuckler are great damage perks to replace Opening Shot's utility in the final column. Elemental Capacitor, on the other hand, can be a great perk to have paired with the Arc subclass for increased Handling.

Here is a list of perks recommended on the Someday Shotgun for PvE:

Smallbore for increased Stability and Range.
Tactical Mag for increased Stability, Reload Speed, and magazine size.
Lead for Gold for ammo on this weapon after picking up heavy ammo bricks.
Reconstruction for increased damage on the weapon's next shot after elemental final blows. This damage can be stacked 10 times, up to 100% increased damage.

Vorpal Weapon is a great perk to take care of Champions in any game mode, alongside Strategist for Class Ability energy with final blows.

How to get Someday Shotgun in Destiny 2?

Someday Shotgun is available in the Pale Heart destination of The Final Shape. As mentioned, players can craft the weapon at their own pace with the perks mentioned above. However, to do so, five Deepsight copies of the weapon need to be unlocked at first.

This can be done from the Ghost vendor located near the "Lost City" waypoint. Simply speak with Ghost and open the Focused Decoding section. Note that you must purchase the "Deepsight Weapon Focusing" buff before trying to focus any Pale Heart weapon.

Next, log in every day and visit Ghost for a guaranteed Deepsight weapon. You can also farm Overthrow activities or complete Micah-10's post-campaign missions for more Deepsight Pale Heart weapons.
