Temporal Anomalies in Destiny 2 Encore are new collectibles tied to triumphs and a new emblem. These collectibles are purple entities scattered throughout different corners of the Exotic mission. While eight Temporal Anomalies are present in the Encore mission, a few prerequisites must be followed to get these collectibles to spawn.

Before collecting the eight anomalies, complete "A Rising Chorus" up to Act 3, and then accept the Epilogue: Anomalous Voices mission. Follow this mission to gather the first Anomaly from inside the Braytech facility on Europa, and then head inside the Encore mission for the second step of the quest.

Typically, since the epilogue mission requires completion of the Encore once, these Temporal Anomalies won't spawn in the first run of Encore in a week.

All Temporal Anomaly locations in Destiny 2 Encore Exotic mission

Location 1:

Spawn in and head straight past the Vex pool in the middle for the first Anomaly. Stay on the left side of the pool, then jump down from the edge of the surface.

After jumping down to the first platform, you will find the Temporal Anomaly there.

Location 2:

Before going to the second Anomaly, activate the secret chest in the purple area. This will help you access the final Temporal Anomaly later. Now, for the second location, head to the area with the Connection terminals and three confluxes. Once you're in the area, take a left while sticking to the barrier, followed by another left leading to a corner.

Pick up the second Temporal Anomaly from here.

Location 3:

In the room with the second Partition terminal, head left instead of going up.

The Anomaly should be present behind the Vex cage.

Head through the first portal after activating the first Access terminal, and then activate the second portal to the massive open area with Vex Radiolaria fluids. After you pass through the second portal, look to your left for the fourth Temporal Anomaly.

After defeating the first boss, progress through the linear path to the Ishtar facilities. However, just before the jumping puzzle with the floating Hydra, keep an eye on the left for the fifth Temporal Anomaly.

In the first Ishtar facility, head left past the Vex Piston pillar. Go to the very end to find an Anomaly here.

Location 7:

In the second Ishtar facility with the Vex portal, look for a Temporal Anomaly on one of the buildings on the right, instead of going through the portal.

Head to the secret chest location with the Deletion terminals. Here, activate the portal, then pick up the Partition module to deposit in its terminal. The Temporal Anomaly should be present just in front of the Partition terminal.

Picking up this final piece of Anomaly should drop the Before Aurora emblem.
