The First Descendant is a live-service looter shooter developed by Nexon, the developers behind MapleStory. It was released worldwide on July 2, 2024. This game combines the successful MMO-lite formula from many other games of its niche, including Warframe and Destiny 2. It features large open areas with drop-in activities and a focus on group content in the late game. Although it is a free-to-play game, it has in-app purchases and a premium Battle Pass system.

The First Descendant is a third-person shooter, where they would be fighting against alien invaders to protect humanity. It features high-quality graphics with smooth game mechanics to offer a great gaming experience. The game's story gets more thrilling as the player gets stronger completing various missions. Moreover, the players can either play this game alone or form a four-player team.
