  • DPS: 172
  • Firearm ATK: 28
  • Magazine Capacity: 51
  • Rate of Fire: 455
  • Crit Damage: 1.3x
  • Crit Rate: 35%
  • Reload Time: 1.68s
  • Burst: 10%
  • Attribute Trigger Rate: 5.56%
  • Weak Point Damage: 1.5x
  • Hip Fire Accuracy: 75.55
  • Aimed Shot Accuracy: 83.33
  • Range (Start): 30m
  • Range (End): 60m

  • ATK Drop-off Modifier: 0.4x
  • Movement Speed: 570
  • Movement Speed (Firing): 390
  • Movement Speed (Aiming): 300
  • Sprint Speed: 800

While still a formidable weapon, Young Noble's Ambition ranks fourth due to its more specialized nature. As a tactical rifle, it offers burst fire but at a reduced range compared to sniper and scout rifles. However, it can be highly effective when paired with the right weapon module, allowing for precise targeting of weak points. Its potential synergy with the Secret Garden ultimate weapon adds to its value, but its more niche use case places it lower on the list.

The Hero's Scar takes the third position due to its long-range capabilities and use of Impact Rounds. It's excellent for thinning out enemy groups from a distance, offering high damage output over time. Its versatility is enhanced by the fact that it complements load-outs that already include a High-Power Rounds weapon, giving them more options in the thick of the battle.

The Magnus AA earns the second spot for its versatility and accessibility. As an assault rifle using General Rounds (white ammo), it offers a good balance of fire rate and magazine size. This weapon can be used by almost any descendant in the game, which shows the adaptability of this gun. Its 50% Acquisition Chance also makes it relatively easy to obtain. Personally, it is one of my favorite early-game guns in the game.

1) The Last Knight (Shotgun)

  • Aimed Shot Accuracy: 37.5
  • Range (Start): 7m
  • Range (End): 20m

  • ATK Drop-off Modifier: 0.1x
  • Movement Speed: 570
  • Movement Speed (Firing): 390
  • Movement Speed (Aiming): 300

The Last Knight takes the top spot due to its exceptional damage output at close range. In The First Descendant, shotguns are undoubtedly OP as not only their damage is noticeably higher compared to other weapon types when used close to bosses but they are also very affected against swarms of enemies. The Last Knight is particularly effective for tank-type characters like Ajax or Kyle, as they can safely go near enemies thanks to their high DEF and deal some significant damage. The use of High-Power Rounds also means it packs a significant punch per shot.
